It has definately been a while since Weve written on here. We will do our best to try make since of everything...it has been since '09! YIKES!
Lets start with the beginning of 2010.
January-- What an exciting month for us! We found out that we were PREGNANT!!
We were so so excited and couldnt wait to tell the family and our friends. We had to wait though!
February-I was feeling the sickness/yuckiness of the first trimester while still trying to keep it quiet! I turned 23 and the 25th. That is also the same day we went to the dr for our first appointment to hear our little ones heartbeat and make sure everything was well. It was a very exciting and scary appointment. When leaving I told Brandon that was the best birthday gift he couldve ever given me(kind of hard to top off proposing to be two years before!) We also found out that our due date was on Brandons birthday so I in return told him Happy Birthday in advance --I might be busy that day!
March- I was still sick but Baby Blount was great, growing away. We became an Aunt and Uncle again to Baby Blake. Our very first wedding Anniversary is in this month also,on the 21st. How exciting to celebrate a One year Wedding Anniversary! :) Cant wait to have many many more!
April- Enjoyed the nice spring weather!
May-Found out our sweet baby was a BOY! We already had a name picked out. Brazos Steven Blount. We went with Steven for the middle name because thats Brandon's dads first name.
June-I did lots of swimming/laying out in the sun!
July-baby boy was still growing!
August-We had 2 of our baby showers this month! We are so so blessed. We got lots of good things for Brazos!
September- The Ganado family gave us a baby shower and boy was that fun! Ask me and Ill give you details about the games we played! :) Also,our very last ultrasound before I had Brazos was this month! The nurse who did the u/s said Brazos weighted about 7 1/2 pounds...WHOAAA back up there nelly! You said WHAT?!?! So I got into my drs room thinking she would said lets have this baby..WRONG! We will talk about inducing at 39 weeks. YIKES!
October- A couple more weeks went by and finally she said lets induce at 39 weeks. YEAHHH! I was thrilled and Brandon was like a little boy(overly excited!) So I went in on October 6th at 10pm to start induction. We had a little trouble ..as I told you before he was on the bigger side. I labored all day until Dr Patronella finally said lets have a c-section. So here we go...most of that was a blur until I hear my dr say as shes pulling him out..WHOA STEVI THIS IS A TODDLER NOT AN INFANT!! Makes ya feel real good! haha! Long story short- we now have a HEALTHY baby boy! :) A week later we celebrated Brandon's 28th birthday!
November- we celebrated Brazos' first Thanksgiving! :)
December- We had my best friends sister, Ashley, take some pictures of our growing baby boy! (ill post some on here!) They turned out great! Brazos celebrated his first Christmas. He got lots of presents! :)
